Shot in Galveston in October, off Harborside. Norma, Steve and I went hoping to get a good shot for the Birds of a Feather assignment --- Norma got a gold! I wanted to practice panning and shooting birds and they cooperated so well. The pelicans were numerous and flew directly above me (no bombings thank goodness!) so low that I could not get all of their wings in the frame sometimes, and they flew all around looking back at me like the shot here, I guess trying to figure out what I was doing.
