Besides her darling dog Shasta, my sister in California is also owned by 4 cats:
Boone, I think is her oldest cat.
Desi, the only male.
Lexi, very sweet and friendly.
Peanut...the look says it all.
I always thought cats would be harder to photograph than dogs, but that is not necessarily true. In both species some individuals are more outgoing and quick to accept me and some are more shy and need time to get used to the camera...and some never get used to it. What amazes me about cats is their wonderful whiskers and fantastic eyes.
Nice shots. The colors of Boone are most pleasing to my eye. Desi seems to have some attitude and I think you captured it. The lighting on Lexi is great--how did you get that nice hair light on her? Peanut's stare makes her portrait. Looks like you got your sister's Christmas present!
