Another of Maggie with a sepia conversion done in Silver Efex. I wish I had made a note of what I used in that program because I can't remember and can't seem to duplicate it. Once you accept the effect you have done you cannot go back into Silver Efex and change anything, you must start all over. What I need to remember to do is at least rename the layer with the name of the preset I used, or the toning color, etc.

Most times I try and save my work as a preset before I say OK. You're right, there are so many options, it's hard to remember or go back to something. And if you haven't already, you should try working with control points for selective adjustments -- really nice.
ReplyDeleteI did not know you could do that, I'll try saving my settings the next time. I have used some control points and probably put 4 or 5 around in this image to control the brightness, either lighter or darker. I don't think I have used the other options yet, like structure. I really need to watch the instructional video that has been open in a tab in my browser for days...
