“A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed in the deepest sense, and is, thereby, a true expression of what one feels about life in its entirety” -Ansel Adams
Something a little different is a good thing. Trying new approaches is good.
ReplyDeleteI like the concept and the shot. I didn't think of getting in that close when we were shooting her. One question would be if the curl is the subject, did you actually intend for it to be out of focus?
ReplyDeleteThe curl was not necessarily my subject --- I was going for the curve of her neck and focused on the earring. Shirley pulled her hair aside for some shots, but I like the ones with her curl hanging so much better, and the fact that it is not in focus doesn't bother me at all! In fact, I used too small an aperture in most of my images and did not get the background blurred enough at all, besides my focusing issues :(.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love it!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
