When I first noticed these ridges in the sand I thought they looked like tiger stripes. So taking Doug's advice to heart I attempted to pump up the constrast and color and move the image in the tiger direction. I used the Photo Filter adjustment layer in Photoshop, with the Warming filter (LBA) and increased the density in that menu to 83%. Then I duplicated that layer to make it more intense and added a Curves layer for more contrast.

I like what you have done. If we didn't know what they really were it would not be hard to envision these being mountain shots taken while in a plane. I like both versions, but lean a little more towards the brownish version.
ReplyDeleteWhile looking at these two images, I keep flipping from one to the other trying to decide which one I like best. I finally gave up. Did you shoot any of these with the lines running on a diagonal? Might add some strength to the photo.
