...for that lady with the camera to be finished. I think she is trying to tell me, enough already! But she is still too cute even when she is being silly. Shot at f2.8 but she was very close to the plant in the background so I tried a texture to make the background recede some.
Cute shot. Dang nice exposure too. I think the texture works in this case. Her right hand looks a little uncomfortable curled over like that, but whatcha gonna do? She's young and you're glad you got the shot as is.
ReplyDeleteI don't usually comment on portraits, because I don't shoot many, but here goes. I like todays shot as well as yesterday's "Cowgirl". I like the overall compositions, poses, colors, etc, which I think are all good choices for the subject. On my screen the exposure on the little girls skin seems just a tad bit hot. However this could just be my monitor. I bet they really look nice printed.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys. Larry, I wondered about how my images look on other's monitors because not only do I not calibrate mine, but so many people don't. My images are really light (too light) on my mom's laptop. Also, this little girl's skin is so smooth and light that no texture even shows on it in the original shots that are not blown out at all.
ReplyDeleteI love her expression in the bottom one. It is so "kid like". Again, good color combination and background. Nice even lighting on both shots.
